SonaSplit ("the App") is a mobile application that records piano performances, detects the notes, and displays them as a piano roll. The App respects your privacy and handles your data according to the policy below.

Data Collection and Use

Microphone access

The App uses your device's microphone to record piano performances. The recorded audio is used solely for the following purposes:

• Detecting piano notes on the device (offline inference)
• Displaying the detected result as a piano roll

Data storage

• Recorded audio is used temporarily for note detection and is not retained after transcription
• Only the title, the detected sequence of notes, and the creation date and time are stored on your device in the library
• The App does not communicate over the internet
• No data is ever transmitted to external servers

Data we do not collect

The App does not collect any of the following:

• Personally identifiable information (name, email address, phone number, etc.)
• Location data
• Device identifiers
• Usage analytics
• Advertising identifiers

Sharing with Third Parties

The App does not share your data with any third party.

Data Deletion

Uninstalling the App deletes all data it has stored (detection results, titles, and settings).

Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at any particular age group. Because it collects no personal information, it is safe for children to use.

This Privacy Policy may be changed without prior notice. If it changes, we will update this page.
